HealthTrust Gives Back with Bike Build for Charity at 2026 MSP Strategic Partnership Summit

At HealthTrust, we're always looking for ways to give back to the communities where we live and work. And we recently enlisted the help of some friends and partners to do just that with our first-ever Bike Build for Charity! Read on for all the details, plus some exclusive photos of this memorable team-building event.

Giving Back by Helping Local Kids in Need

As you may have heard, we recently wrapped up another unforgettable MSP Strategic Partnership Summit. And we're proud to say it was one of our most successful events ever, an unforgettable day of dining, networking, and entertainment! You can watch a quick video recap here.

But the most memorable part of this year's Summit was also the newest feature, as leaders from HealthTrust and our most valued strategic partners came together for a unique team-building event to support a great cause — building 20 bikes to donate to local children in need.

  • The goal: To build 20 bikes for local kids as part of a give-back team-building event, with each team getting 90 minutes to fully assemble a bicycle.

  • The participants: Leaders from both HealthTrust and our valued strategic partners came together to participate in the event, coordinated with Impact 4 Good to support Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County.

  • The catch: The teams were made up of participants from different organizations without direct experience working with one another — including HealthTrust leadership — for team-building in the truest sense of the word!

  • The results: Not only was the Bike Build for Charity a ton of fun and a chance for some of our most valued partners to get to know each other, but it made a huge difference by providing 20 school-age kids in need with brand-new bikes.

Trivia, Team-Building & a Chance to Make a Difference

Always memorable, the annual HealthTrust Workforce Solutions MSP Strategic Partnership Summit is a once-a-year gathering that brings together our most valued MSP partners for a fun-filled day of dining, entertainment, and networking.

But this year’s Summit truly took things to a new level with the Bike Build for Charity — both as a way to encourage team-building across our shared network of professionals, and as a way to support children and families in our community.

And it all happened in an atmosphere of fun and friendly competition, kicking off with a series of trivia questions related to bicycles, their role in pop culture over the years, and other fun facts to set the mood.

Next, the participants broke into 20 teams, and started building their bikes, with the winner being the fastest to do so in 90 minutes. At the end, each team surprised a child with the bicycle they built. So, in the truest sense of a win-win, every team had a chance to make a life-changing impact.

If it all sounds pretty simple, consider the challenges in putting together a complex machine from scratch with a team of people you’ve never worked with, and you’ll start to get a sense of challenge.

But of course, the result is more than worth the effort.

“Think about your first bike,” as Impact 4 Good organizers put it. “What color was it? Who gave it to you? The joy of being a child and being presented with your first bicycle is unmatched. Yet many children are unable to experience that joy and have never owned their own bike.”

See You at the Next HealthTrust Give-Back Event!

With 20 happy kids the ultimate winners of the event, we'd call our latest efforts to give back an unqualified success. Thanks to everyone who participated we can't wait to see you again next year!
