Important HCA Healthcare Piedmont Healthcare Divestiture Announcement

As many have heard, HCA Healthcare is in the process of divesting Eastside Medical Center (Main and South Campus, Cartersville Medical Center and Coliseum Medical Center (Main and Northside Campus) to Piedmont Healthcare effective August 1, 2021. 

As a result of this transaction, HealthTrust Workforce Solutions will no longer be managing contract labor at these select facilities and will no longer be booking per diem shifts, travel contracts or float pool assignments past August 31, 2021. That said, we have outlined what to expect throughout this transition. 

• All active assignments and confirmed pending contract starts will be transitioned to new Piedmont Companies within the Workforce 2.0 VMS for the remainder of the assignment and will sunset on their established end date. 
• Any existing open needs will be managed by HWS on the new Piedmont companies in the Workforce 2.0 VMS until August 31st, 2021. 
• Time capture will transition to the Piedmont Kronos timekeeping system. 
• The HWS program and local teams will contact you to request any required action within WF 2.0 throughout this transition.
