As you may have heard, HCA Healthcare is in the process of divesting Redmond Regional Medical Center to AdventHealth effective October 1, 2021.

As a result of this transaction, HealthTrust Workforce Solutions will no longer be the primary MSP provider for contract labor at this select facility. That said, we have outlined what to expect throughout this transition and the associated grace periods.

State of New York Governor Kathy Hochul released a comprehensive plan to address preventable staffing shortages in hospitals and other health care facilities statewide.

 "We are still in a battle against COVID to protect our loved ones, and we need to fight with every tool at our disposal," Governor Hochul said. "I am monitoring the staffing situation closely, and we have a plan to increase our health care workforce and help alleviate the burdens on our hospitals and other health care facilities. I commend all of the health care workers who have stepped up to get themselves vaccinated, and I urge all remaining health care workers who are unvaccinated to do so now so they can continue providing care."

We are thankful that the HWS MSP Program is made up of incredible partners who work hard each day, creating both career opportunities for healthcare professionals and ensuring the delivery of patient care across the country. We are sharing this communication to notify you that effective 5/22/20, the decision has been made for HealthTrust and Tenet to end our contractual MSP relationship. The management of the Program will be transitioned over the next 90 days. We look forward to your continued partnership and support of our many system wide MSP programs, with several new client partnerships on the horizon. Please direct any questions to Beckie Daniel.

When hands are visibly dirty, contaminated or soiled, wash with non-antimicrobial or antimicrobial soap and water. Always wash your hands before eating and after using the restroom.  Use warm water with a nickel to quarter size of liquid soap. Lather, rub all surfaces and under nails. Rub for at least 15 seconds and rinse well. Dry hands with a paper towel, use that towel to turn off faucets and open the door. 

If hands are not visibly soiled, use an alcohol-based hand rub for routinely decontaminating hands. Cover all surfaces until hands feel dry, approximately 20 seconds. After approximately 10 uses, wash your hands with soap and friction.
